Thank you to Viz Media for providing a free copy of Blue Flag Vol. 1 in exchange for an honest review. I loved this manga. The characters are charming and hilarious and the story is fast paced and interesting. The love quadrangle is actually a huge win in my opinion. I wasn't aware of it before reading so it was a nice surprise. Taichi and Futaba are both adorable in their own ways but they have a lot of similarities. I found them both incredibly funny, they had me laughing out loud throughout the entire book. Toma is tall, attractive, great at sports, popular..., but he's sweet and considerate. I love that they kept him that way and didn't pull his personality into arrogance at any point. I felt that all of them are pretty good people even though they all have their secrets. The ending had me squealing. I had a feeling but it still took me by surprise and I honestly loved it so much. This is another win for Viz! I'll be adding this to my personal library and I'll be impatiently awaiting Vol.2.
