5 Manga Moms We Love

It's Mother's Day, let's take a moment to appreciate some of the best Manga Moms!
1. Kyoko Honda
Despite her past gang-life, Kyoko was a loving mother who raised an impossibly gentle child. She was protective of Tohru and her friends, and she showed her daughter the value of hard work and a kind heart.
2. Kushina Uzumaki
Kushina was dealt a tragic hand, but her courage was limitless. She put everything she had into saving her son, even beyond death when Naruto finally gets to meet her. A mother's love knows no bounds, and that is certainly the case for Kushina.
3. Mama Higurashi
You want to talk supportive moms? Look no further. Mama Higurashi is beyond understanding of her 15-year-old daughter's frequent trips to feudal Japan. Even when Kagome brought Inuyasha back with her, Mrs. Higurashi took it in stride. Maybe we'll see more in the upcoming Inuyasha sequel!
4. Inko Midoriya
When Izuku failed to manifest a quirk as a child, Inko continued to support his love of heroes and his desire to become one. After receiving One For All, Izuku dove into the mayhem of attending UA. With all the chaos surrounding her son, Inko was understandably terrified. However, she never stopped supporting him.
5. Bulma
Bulma is the definition of a strong mother. She has a big personality and she's not afraid to go toe to toe with the nastiest villains to protect her family. She wields her intelligence like a weapon and provides tech and security for Future Trunks, even before she knows he is her son. When we see her Future Self, her sacrifices for Trunks, and her determination to protect what's left of their world is inspiring.
